"The Still-Face-Experiemnt" shows the importance of early interaction with babies

This experiment shows the effect we have, as mothers, parents and caregivers, on the very young infant. Babies pick up social cues much earlier than previously thought, which is even more evidence that talking, interacting, cooing, "speaking the babies language", in the earliest days of life is very beneficial to the baby's social interactions in the future...
